Excel Import

Excel Import imports an excel file to a table.

  1. Tools| Import or Import Select button.
  2. Select a table you want to import.


  3. Select MS Excel radio button.


  4. Select an excel file you want to import on 'Sou‚’ce file Name'.
    Note)You must rename and save the excel file when importing excel data to the table.
    Save the file format as the form of "Microsoft Excel 5.0/95 integrated files ".



  5. Put "1" value into ¨Î if the first column of the ecel data is Field Name.
  6. Select 'Auto fill cols' on ¨Í.
  7. [Next] button is activated if the data area that you want to import is selected.
    Select [Next] button.


  8. Select the form of Date format and data format of each field.
    Select [Next] button.



    Set the Date format of the data imported, connectors and delimiters.
  9. Set Commit option.
    Input the record commit option.
    Error log is shown when error occur.


  10. Set the expansion option when importing.



    You can either select Insert / Append or update an specific field when inerting data.
    Updating and deleting the data that its key-field is mapped is possible.
    Key-field is identified as PK, Unique Key of the table.
  11. Select Update/Delete on Import Mode
    when processing Update or Delete the table.
  12. Select Key Columns.
    You can update and delete data by inserting key fields of the current table to Available Columns as below;


  13. Select [Excute] button and Import.
    If you want to only insert, item 13 / 14 are unnecessary.
